La Ventana Saw is a mountain region of Buenos Aires Province that was founded in 1908. At present is headquarters of the Provincial Festival of the Three Wise Men. Only 50 kilometers separate it Tornquist city.
It is this locality is possible to be lodged in cabins, hotels, boarding houses and campsites. The farms that open their doors to tourism offer also the option of lodging.
On Sauce Grande River and San Bernardo stream we find resorts like El Dique, La Hoya, Los Angelitos and San Bernardo where visitors get together in summer time.
The visits to farms can take half a day or several days depending if you choose for lodging or not. Among the activities that you carry out are included tasks which are proper of the country and other more recreational like bike rides, quads and horse ridding.
The Zoo of La Ventana Saw is an educational and of entertainment enterprise. It comprises indigenous and exotic animals in the middle of a square of rustic playground, and a miniature golf. Besides it has restaurant and sweetshop.
Of the local production we can acquire handcrafted works in the craft boutique or in the circuit of workshops. Other entertainments are the casino and the golf Course of 18 holes where important tournaments of national level are carried out.
In this sector of Ventania Saws outstands Ceferino Hill or del Amor Hill to which is gained access through a short walk. In the river there is a Station of Fish Farming that is devoted to the breed of fry of rainbow trout.

La fecha de fundación de Sierra de la Ventana se considera el 17 de enero de 1908. Ese día la tierra fue adquirida por los señores Eugh Evans Guney y Esteven D.
En 1911 queda inaugurado el Club Hotel de la Ventana, que contara con gran afluencia turística. Sin embargo, se genera una confusión con la entrega de la correspondencia, ya que el nombre Sierra de la Ventana figuraba en dos establecimientos comerciales y en la estación que actualmente es Saldungaray.
El Ministerio de Obras Públicas de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, el 16 de septiembre de 1912 autoriza el cambio del nombre de la estación Sauce Grande por el de Sierra de la Ventana, y la estación que llevaba hasta ese momento dicho nombre es cambiado por el del dueño de las tierras aledañas a la estación, el Sr. Saldungaray.
