Guaminí city is known as the "capital of the silvers melt" and is head of the homonymous party. It is located to the southwest of Buenos Aires province and is ideal to carry out mini-tourism and fishing tourism. Only 500 kilometers separate it from the Federal Capital.
Sport fishing in Guaminí can be practiced so from the coast as well as embarked. Beaches, streams, campsites, hunt sports, and nautical sports complete the tourist offering.
Besides fishing and nature, in February there are the carnivals the main attraction. A festival organized with effort that each year shows floats and comparsas.
Guaminí has a really important fishing wealth since it is located in the region of the lake complex "Encadenadas del Oeste", a series of large lakes interconnected by streams and swapms. The water level of these spots oscillates in its volume according to droughts or abundant rains.
Three main lakes form the water mirrors of the area of Guaminí: Del Monte Lake, Cochico Lake and Alsina Lake.
Del Monte Lake is fed by streams that come from the La Ventana Saws. It is closest to the city and has an extensive resort with bathroom facilities, grocery stores, campsites, places for sport practice and artistic expresion. It is the deepest of the three reaching 8 meters deep in some sectors but it is completely clean of vegetation.
The lake Cochico is located only 15 kilometers from Guamini city and forms another locality of the party. Its resort offers campsites, several grocery stores and sweetshops. It allows the practice of nautical sports: as windsurfing, water skiing or speedboat racing.
Finally, Alsina Lake or La Larga is the most distant from Guaminí and is connected with Lake Cochico through a stream. It offers fishing defenses in the surrounding area. The average depth of this water mirror is of 2 meters and the maximum one reaches the 4 meters. Among very few reeds we can capture specimen with good postage of silvers melt, cat fish, and carp among others.

.. Historia (subir) |
